close up - Because black is so bold, lines have to be painted very sharp otherwise the smallest mistake can be spotted.

Originally considered a blue violet for design but settled on black.

Finished background - much more yellow now (picture is crap). Design drawn on and ready to paint.

Painting progress, nearly finished. Once again I decided to choose a matching colour for the design. It turned out a bit pink for me but it still sort of works.

As an Art Student whose interests mostly lie in Painting and Drawing, my path to becoming a qualified Artist is an experience of self discovery with which I use the method of storytelling through my paintings.
